Ultimate Mac & Cheese

Did you know that macaroni can be traced back to as early as the 14th century in Italy and medieval England? There are many different variations out there that have evolved over the years to create that delicious and familiar cheesy pasta we all enjoy.

Indulge yourself with this velvety and rich ultimate mac and cheese featuring cream cheese, sour cream, and a lot cheese. If you are looking for your new favorite comfort food, here it is.


Ingredients:

4 Tbsp Butter

4 Tbsp Flour

Pinch Salt and Pepper

1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

1 Tsp Paprika

3 Cups Heavy Cream

1 Brick Cream Cheese, softened

2 Cups Sour Cream

4 Cups Elbow Noodles

1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

1 Cup Old Cheddar, Shredded

2 Cups Marble Cheese, Shredded

1 Cup Marble Cheese, Shredded for topping

Directions:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add noodles and cook to aldonate, drain and set aside.

  • To a large pot add butter and melt until lightly browned, add in flower, salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper. Using a whisk, stir together over medium low heat for 3 minutes allowing the flour to cook.

  • Next, add in your heavy cream and whisk together until combined. Add in sour cream and cream cheese, cook together and whisk until fully combined. Reduce heat to low.

  • Add in shredded cheese, stir until combined. Add in your cooked noodles and fold together. Pour into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Broil until cheese is bubbling and lightly browned. Serve hot and enjoy!
