Bacon and Chicken Ranch Casserole

This ranch chicken and bacon casserole features a flavor packed velvety smooth whites sauce that keeps you wanting more. Sometimes I find myself cooking the same meals over and over again in my weekly rotation. We all have those easy go to recipes we make regularly. But sometimes that gets old and we want something new. This recipe was born after I found myself bored with the usual routine. I went through my cupboards looking for inspiration and found a packet of ranch seasoning. I thought, hmm I bet this would taste great in a pasta sauce. This recipe is the result of that curious thought, and I will definitely be adding this to my favorites no doubt. It was a big hit all around from my 3 year old up to adults making this a great family dish.

Ingredients :

2 Large Chicken Breast, Cooked and Shredded

4 Cups Chicken Stock

1 Cup Heavy Cream

1/2 Brick Cream Cheese, Cubed and softened

1 lb Bacon

1 Head of Garlic, minced

2 Onions, diced

1 Tsp Basil

1 Tsp Parsley

1/8 Tsp Paprika

1/8 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

1 Package Dry Ranch Seasoning Mix

Pinch Salt and Pepper

2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

4 Cups Pasta Noodles of your choice

Directions:

  • Add diced bacon to a large pot and cook until crispy, remove and set aside leaving the grease in the pot.

  • Add your diced onion and sauté for 3 minutes. Add in remaining ingredients accept bacon and shredded cheese. Bring up to a low simmer and let cook together until cream cheese has blended into the sauce.

  • Meanwhile, Cook pasta noodles of your choice in salted water until not quite aldonate. Then drain and set aside. We will finish cooking in the sauce.

  • Add cooked noodles to the sauce and simmer together until noodles are ready.

  • Lastly add in your cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir together and enjoy!
