This no knead cheese bread is packed full of cheese, garlic, onions and parsley making one heck of a punch in flavor for a quick homemade bread. It's super easy to make and requires know kneading proof time. Bake, slice and slather with a healthy dose of butter and enjoy. This bread will make your house smell amazing too. Ingredients:
1 Tsp Dry Parsley
1/8 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 Tsp Onion Powder
1 3/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour , spooned and leveled
1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
3 Cups Shredded Medium Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Whole Milk
1 Large Egg
1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter , melted
Butter Topping:
1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter , melted
1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 Tsp Salt
Pinch of Onion Powder
1/8 Tsp of Dried Parsley
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Spray your 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside. (Be sure to coat the entire pan)
In a large bowl, whisk together your flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
Add the cheese tossing it all together until coated in the flour mixture. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk your milk and eggs together, then pour it into the dry mixture. Stir until combined Add in the melted butter mixing until everything is combined well.
Drop the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top pressing it into the pan.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
While the bread is baking, make the topping. Start by whisking together the butter, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and dried parsley, set aside.
Remove your finished bread from the oven and immediately brush the top of your bread with the butter topping. Let the bread sit for 5 minutes in the pan, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and eat as is, or try toasting it in your toaster oven. You may have some extra butter mixture left over to smother a few slices with as well.
