Baked & Marinated Chicken Drums

This balsamic, honey garlic chicken marinade creates a fall off the bone juicy and tender chicken, that can be baked or barbequed. With both sweet and savory notes, it wont need the addition of any BBQ sauce. If you prefer a more crispy skin, bake at a higher temp (425F) and reduce baking time by 15 minutes, or if you prefer a super moist chicken bake at 375F. You know it is ready when it is no longer pink and juices run clear. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much my family and I did.

Ingredients:

10 Chicken Legs

3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup vegetable oil

4 tbsp honey

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp Soya sauce

1 tsp salt

1 tsp fresh ground pepper

1 tsp basil

1 tsp parsley

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

4 cloves of garlic, minced

Chicken Marinade Steps

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375F and prepare a large cookie sheet with parchment paper

  • In a bowl, mix all you ingredients together.

  • Add your thawed chicken to a large Ziploc bag, and pour the marinade on top

  • Seal the Ziplock trying to remove as much air as possible, then toss the chicken in the sauce.

  • Allow your chicken to marinade for at least 30 minutes and up to 6 hours.

  • Every so often, flip the bag over to ensure the marinade gets all over the chicken.

  • Place chicken on your lined pan and bake for 45 minutes, flipping half way through.

  • You know the chicken is done when the juices run clear and meat is no longer pink.
